KTA Media Olympic Documentary Premiers

With the Youth Olympic Games Kiteboard Qualifier for Asia/Oceania about to arrive in Thailand in March, the release of the KTA Media’s, Long Road to Tokyo documentary could not have been more timely.

The documentary traces kiteboarding’s quest to become a recognised Olympic sport which it briefly achieved for time, a decision that was unfortunately later overturned. However, as we now know kiteboarding has achieved Olympic status as part of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and has its heart set on achieving full Olypmic status at the 2020 Tokyo Games. 

The Long Road to Tokyo premiers on the Outdoor Channel Asia from the 3rd February and will be shown acrossed 17 countries in South East Asia including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, Korea, Taiwan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The show with then go on to be released globally through KTA Media’s international TV partners as well as being under consideration by the Olympic Channel.
